St.Lucia is a volcanic Island in the British Winward group of the West Indies. 27 miles long and 14 miles wide, 238 Square miles. Now fully an independent state within the British Commonwealth since 1979, St.Lucia’s calling card is the breathtaking Pitons, Twin Volcanic Peaks rising dramatically from the sea.
Attractions include a Drive-in Volcano with hot Sulphur Springs, wild flowers and banana plantations. St. Lucia’s highest peak is Mount Gimi at 3,145 feet. Temperature range 75 – 85 degrees Farinheit.
